Amiga USB Ethernet w/Roadshow

December 29, 2014 Amiga No Comments

Some quick notes about using a Linksys USB200M ethernet adapter with RapidRoad USB interface and Roadshow IP Stack:

– the Linksys USB200m uses the axiseth.class in the Poseidon (you will see this in the Trident manager in Prefs).

– In Roadshow, set your NetInterfaces config file to look for the device usbasixeth.device (device=usbasixeth.device)

– Make sure the Poseidon stack starts first in the user-startup

– add a “wait 3” to the user-startup after calling the Poseidon stack so that the usb stack has time to initialize the ethernet before starting Roadshow.
